9 months!!!
On April 5th Carson turned 9 months old! We were on the way to Branson, MO that day, so he didn’t have his 9 month well-baby appointment until this afternoon.

Whales whales everywhere!
I love whales. Carson’s nursery is filled with all things whale and his newborn wardrobe was filled with any whale outfit we could find, which last spring/summer amounted to only a couple of outfits. On the move!
I’m typing this as I chase Carson around the house! On February 21 he began to crawl and he is now very FAST. He has been crawling everywhere and isn’t scared of getting as far from us as possible. It's a Boy!
Exactly a year ago today we found out that we were having a BOY! I was convinced that our baby would be a girl, but having a boy has been so much fun (and affordable). 7 Months!!!
Today Carson turned 7 months old!
Carson’s big milestone this month has been trying to crawl. He is definitely doing some sort of scooting thing and we wouldn’t be surprised if he was crawling by March! Carson’s mobility is fun to watch, but i’m suddenly realizing that we haven’t done any baby-proofing. Guess i’ll be adding that to our to-do list VERY soon!

Happy 1/2 Birthday Carson!
The last two weeks have been full of Christmas fun and traveling adventures, but before we get to those posts, it’s time to wish a happy half birthday to Carson!!! Today Carson is 6 months old. 5 months!!!
Last Wednesday Carson turned 5 months old!!! He had no doctor’s appointment this month, so we did our measuring at home. It’s getting harder and harder to keep him still, so these probably aren’t very accurate!
Here are his current measurements:
Weight: 16 lbs 10 oz (25-50 percentile)…he was 14 lbs 10 oz last month at the doctor. 2 more pounds of baby rolls :)

Crib Training
Because Carson decided that sleeping in his pack-n-play wasn’t the cool thing to do and his alternate bed (the swing) decided to stop working, we decided that his days in our room were numbered. My parents just left after a great 4 day visit! We already miss them so much, but we get to see them again in just 4 weeks!!! We have our first sick baby around here :( Carson has come down with a cold and he has been very stuffy, coughing lots and does not want to be alone. I came home from work early today to help take care of him and cuddle. I think we both needed it! We got a humidifier last night which helped us all sleep better, so hopefully that plus some extra loving makes Carson better soon. His little coughs...
