Hello Third Trimester!
Today marks 27 weeks…so exactly 3 months from Carson’s due date! I didn’t even realize until I looked at the pregnancy apps on my iPhone that this means that the third trimester starts today!!! My whole pregnancy has seemed soooo slow until now (the constant sickness and lack of energy even in the second trimester did not help). I can’t believe that in only 3 months we will have a little baby. I suddenly have an urge to clean the entire house…maybe i’m nesting?
I know some people love being pregnant, but I don’t think I do. I’m just ready for Carson to be here!!! I have definitely taken full advantage of the sleeping and eating thing, so now I’m full and well rested and just want to hold our baby!!! I’m also ready for school to end so i’ll have a month to finish getting everything ready (hopefully- stay in there Carson!!!). Then i’ll have 3 months at home with Carson before I go back to work. And my mom will be staying with us for almost the entire month of July which is going to be fun and helpful and exactly what we’ll need. I am anxiously awaiting June 1st so all of this good stuff can begin!
Until then i’m counting down the days to seeing my mom, dad, brother, nephew and sister-in-law (just 5 days!) and best friend (just 6 days!) for my baby shower next weekend. I’m sure with all the things we have going on in the next few months that June- and July 6th!- will be here before we know it.
