9 weeks to go!!!
I can’t believe that in just 9(ish) weeks we’ll get to meet our little man! It seems so close now… Luckily, since i’m a bit crazy as far as planning things goes, we’re pretty ready! The nursery is done and we have mostly everything we really need for him. I really want to start washing his little clothes and packing my hospital bag, but I’m trying to save those things until school gets out (3.5 weeks left…yay!!!) and they become more necessary/I have too much free time but not much to do. We’ve been taking prep classes at the hospital and i’m always the one who is furthest from her due date, which I take as a sign of slowwwww downnnnn. I will have plenty of time in June to over-prepare for Carson since my favorite summer activities all include things you can’t do when 7-8 months pregnant (laying out, drinking margaritas, floating the river, going to Michigan, etc.).
The last few weeks I have gotten to have a taste of those lazy summer days. Last week Stella had an allergic reaction to her shots, so I stayed home with her to make sure she was ok. Today I had jury duty but they let me go an hour into it since I was so hot and look very pregnant. This means that there are only 17 more school days left…hoping I don’t have to take off anymore days, though just hanging out with Stella and Carson is fine by me ;)
It will be a very different summer, but I know once Carson is here that it will be the best summer!
